After that, they lay around the dwindling fire as the sun grew warm around them, and their overstuffed stomachs slowly settled back to something resembling normal size. George, Charlie noted, seemed to feel no shame in pillowing his head on Fred’s shoulder, and neither did Fred try to shove him off.

They talked as they lay there, explaining the whole course of events, though leaving out any part, of course, that would require them to say the words ‘Fred’ and ‘dead’ in the same sentence. Fred listened quietly, one arm crooked lightly over George’s chest, as they told him what the last week had been like."

EDIT: Just FYI, I painted this in Painter, and when I put it into Photoshop to resize and stuff, the colors were like woah saturated. I'm not sure why Painter looks drab compared to PS and my web browser, but I'll have to watch out for that in the future. Oh welll. I do like bright colors. :)

The story, by the way, was EVERYTHING it was cracked up to be, and more. I posted feedback to it earlier in the month, and was reading it again today and weeping quietly - again - over my lunch break. I added it to my signatures at the forums where I am a member.

Just took me forever to realise why I love the pose so incredibly much: It reminds me of the Lion King! Which adds another couple of awesome-points to it. :D
