All things considered, Hasbro hasn't been going TOO crazy with the KO fanservice. Sure, they've been showing him a lot more than in the first season, but everything had been pretty in character for him. This stretching was in character, in a sense, but... I dunno, it just seemed too...
Sensual.
Daran Norris, stop it. You are making a cartoon character entirely way too sexy. >_<
Well, I hope they don't get out of control with it. As long as he stays in character, I don't mind. But yeah, that definitely was my first reaction, though for myself, I don't read any overt "sexuality" in Knockout's character, so much as just plain goofiness. I see him as being a bit special or odd in the way he views things, and it makes him a really fun character in my opinion. He's not your typical badass Decepticon, and that makes him really interesting.
Yeah, if there's one thing that Knock Out does perfectly, it's chew the scenery, which is why it flusters me to see so many so called KO fans get snippy when he starts his shenanigans.
In Flying Mind, someone was annoyed that he used a lot of words just to say "Don't Do It", but it's Knock Out. That's how he talks; he doesn't get straight to the point, he must draw it out, as well as explaining WHY Megatron should listen to him ('as your personal physician') and why he shouldn't do it ('we don't know the effects it might have on the ship'). He's wordy, but his diction is with reason, not JUST to hog all the attention. If that makes any sense.
Not that you'll hear me complaining, mind you.
This is adorable! I envy your skills with watercolors!

Okay, I'll stop spamming your picture now.
