Hmmm. Possible during the upcoming episode on June 28 titled "Minus One" Description(from WheelJack1768 and TF wiki): The Autobots question a captured enemy for information regarding Megatron's plans". So for one, it couldn't be Predaking, since he can't talk(at least, not yet), can't be Airachnid(she's on Cybertron's moon) Megatron is highly doubtful, Shockwave, eh, I doubt he'd tell anything to the 'bots. And Soundwave is the same reason as Predaking(he doesn't/can't talk either). Starscream is a possibility as well, since he did go rouge and help the 'bots during season 2 of the show. So either they capture KO or Screamer.
I'm really loving all these pictures of Knockout. He's very picturesque and fluid--I'd imagine he must be fun to draw. Very well done pose and an especially interesting one for Knockout, who spends a great deal of his time upright and "preening", as it were. Like seeing this different perspective
This is amazing, I like the more angled look he has as opposed to some other works of yours and others that I've seen him in. Just a new way of looking at it, more textured? if that's the right word, haha.
He looks positively haunted here. Did he just have a close call with a falling shelf of drill bits, and needs to take a little sit-down to contemplate his paint job? Or maybe something... more serious?
I don't know how, or why, but somehow you always make me feel sorry for Knockout. Like...he just needs a hug or something. I mean, I like him as a character in Prime, but not quite the fangirl that runs out to love on every Knockout item she can find, just in an appreciation for what he represents within the show. Yet here, any time I see you doodle him, I always feel sorry for him. Even when he's not being pitiable. How does that work? Anywho, nice job.
That's a huge compliment, thanks. I'm always happy if my art makes people feel something. I do think Knockout is a bit of a sad story, at least underneath the surface, and he does get treated pretty badly by Megatron and Starscream, not to mention losing Breakdown. He strikes me as one of those sorts to keep a chipper facade overtop the tragedies in his life. He's not perfect, but I think he spends a large portion of his life being misunderstood and taken advantage of.
I think I have to agree with you; at least now I do. You've kind of put it into perspective for me. Everyone has their own lives and he's gotten qute the short end of the stick - though he does always smile, and he's got that cocky attitude and vanity - he's lost the only 'bot that he ever seemed fond of (not in a 'relationship' kind of way, but even as a friend, companion, comrade kind of way), and he rarely gets the respect he probably deserves considering he's their one and only medic! (even if he does better work with destroying than he does with repairs, as he claims. He's had it rough.
