I'm just dropping by to say sorry for being missing in action lately. I have become suddenly very busy, and my internet time is really limited now. I am still working on people's art, but since I haven't drawn anything in about three weeks, I'm not making much progress on anything at all. I'm sort of going through drawing withdrawal though (cue jitters), so hopefully I'll get back on the proverbial horse soon.
Five Things I Learned This Week
And now, in lieu of having anything of substance to say (do I ever actually have anything of substance to say?), I give you Five Things I Learned This Week. YES.
- Do not shift gears with the same hand that's holding the coffee. Volcano = SAD.
- Do not drink three glasses of prune juice an hour before bedtime. (Don't even ask.)
- Drinking out of the wrong side of the coffee cup produces spectacularly poor results.
- Short skirt + windy day = FAIL.
- Making a dog pee in a thunderstorm is like catching trout with a spatula.
To quote C.S. Lewis, I have now made you older. (Ten points and a Twizzler to anyone who gets that reference.)
Anyone Like Tea?
I found an awesome tea site, which sells loose-leaf and bag tea for a great price. Even better, shippping anywhere in the lower 48 is only $3.75, so there's no getting to your total and finding out they're slapping you with fifteen bucks shipping. (They do ship internationally as well, but obviously that's a bit more.) I am a bit of a tea snob, and I like this stuff, so if anyone wants good tea on the cheap, see below.
